Irrigation Water Treatment and Iron or Rust Removal.

Iron or rust in irrigation water can cause problems of staining on anything it touches such as sidewalks, driveways, fences and even your house and plants if the water hits them. It can also cause plugging up of the sprinkler heads that can result in a very expensive repair cost and service calls. Our Terminox™ ISM filters do a great job of removing not only the iron from your sprinkler systems but it also removes sulfur, manganese, dirt, sand and sediment and they are a chemical free, salt free, maintenance free system. Note: Some chemicals may be needed if you have low pH or iron bacteria. If that is the case and you must raise your pH or treat iron bacteria the average cost of those chemicals is only $2 to $4 a month.

We have replaced many of those chemical systems that claim to bind up the iron and prevent it from staining that are sold under the brand names American Hydro System Inc.®, Rid-o-Rust®, Rust off Inc®. and many others. When we talk to the people using those systems they tell us that they are spending hundreds of dollars every month for the chemical and in most cases still have the staining.
