We also think you should check out our in-line sediment type filters for cases of rusty water. Rusty well water or rust in water (sometimes called red water) are usually signs of iron water. Brown well water (or brown water) is usually more likely to be dirt or sediment in nature.

Please Note: You can remove iron from water as well as sulfur, manganese, turbidity, chlorine, dirt and many other contaminants from the entire home or house. When removing iron from water be sure to ask for advice from our well water technicians before ordering. Iron and water don't belong together. Not iron in drinking water or well water iron of any kind as far as we are concerned. Let us take your iron away!

Also Note: Some assembly is required on most iron filters. Any pH below 7.0 can damage iron filtration equipment and most iron filtration requires an even higher pH. You should contact our tech support staff before ordering and again before beginning installation of your new filter for instruction. Thank you.
