Light Turbidity Sediment Filter Tanks (FilterAg)

Light Turbidity Tanks are normally used when common dirt and sediment is too much for replaceable cartridge type water filters are not particle because there is too much sediment. These filter are automatic and self cleaning. Once you set them up they take care of themselves. Be sure to add a bypass valve. The correct way to size this water filter is to do a flow rate check. You can see how to do a flow rate check under item #7 on this page FAQ'S:

It is also a good idea to read items # 16 and #17 on that page as well to be sure that this is truly the best filter. In cases where the sediment is really fine, such as silt for example, then a heavy turbidity filter is the one you want. Heavy Turbidity Sediment Filter Tanks (layered 4 mineral bed)

The Heavy Turbidity Sediment filter is for wells and other water source that have more than one type or size of dirt or sediment, including things such a fine silt. This is a backwashing self cleaning water filter that normally requires no maintenance, salt or chemicals of any kind. When it cleans itself the different types of filter minerals inside naturally return to a layered form. Each layer removes a different size particle, so that this unit handles most of those problem waters where one type filter doesn't do the trick.

Be sure to add a bypass valve. The correct way to size this powerful water filter is to do a flow rate check. You can see how to do a flow rate check under item #7 on this page: FAQ'S
