CITY WATER CARBON FILTER $279

This Multi-Valve system is manually operated and requires no electricity. 9"x40" tank holds activated carbon for removal of tastes, chemicals such as chlorine, and odors. Built in bypass allows you to switch briefly to chlorinated city water for periodic disinfection of your water lines. Occasionally backwash manually to prevent channeling. Buy Now

Multi-Valve Features The multi-valve head is a manually operated valve that requires no electricity, it has four built-in functions: Shut-Off- Allows for the shut-off of the water supply to the point of use easily with the turn of the lever. No additional plumbing parts are required. Bypass- Allows for bypassing the filter when non-filtered water is needed. In Service- Allows filtered water to flow to the point of use with the turn of the lever. Backwash- Allows manual backwashing of the system to clean the media, reducing back pressure and channeling. All units include backwash flow controls. Optionally- These units can be supplied Centaur™ GAC for the removal of chloramines or Hydrogen sulfide.

All Units come with Easy install Kit. Included are 3/4" Inlet-outlet distributor tank head, 10"x54" tank, riser pipe, upper basket (screens carbon from leaving tank), 1.5 cubic foot of Activated Carbon.

NOTE: For city water with Chloramines or Hydrogen sulfide we recommend you upgrade the activated carbon to Centaur GAC carbon. Additional cost is $175. Just give us a call.
